Alfred Perez

Alfred Perez grew up in Southern California and moved out to Crown Point, IN in 2003.

 

Alfred Perez has a strong work ethic, a drive to succeed, and a passion for improving the communities in NWI- one house at a time.

 

In 2011, Alfred Perez founded Preferred Homes, starting off by buying, fixing, and selling distressed properties. He has grown to be the largest residential redevelopment company in Northwestern Indiana. Since 2011, Preferred Homes has completed and sold over 850 single-family redevelopment projects grossing over $125M in revenue. In the last year alone, Preferred Homes has redeveloped and sold over 150 residential single-family homes.

 

In 2021, Alfred Perez broke into the multifamily space in Northwestern Indiana. Alfred Perez began by purchasing 4 apartment buildings (109 units) in 2021. These apartments all had low rents, outdated units, and were mismanaged. At the time of purchase of these apartments, there were 11 vacant units, many open service tickets, and outdated units. Since purchase, he has fully rented out the units, increased rents, and remodeled 8 units to increase cash flow and property value. The cash flow now on the 4 apartment buildings purchased in 2021 is over $250,000 in passive net income.  Since starting in the multifamily rental space 4 years ago, Alfred Perez has personally and solely acquired over 1,300 apartment units in Northwest Indiana.
